About Calvary Christian School

Our Why
Both the home (Gen. 18:19; Deut. 6:7; Proverbs 22:6) and the church (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 2:42: 2 Tim. 2:2) have received scriptural commands to educate. It is clear that the education of the children, therefore, is the responsibility of the parents and church members. Calvary Christian School exists to accomplish this purpose, i.e., reinforcement of the home’s and church’s education ministries and protection of these ministries from secular influence.

Partnering with Families to Provide:
The Invaluable Gift of a Biblical Worldview
At Calvary Christian School, we believe that a strong foundation in the truth of God’s Word is essential for children’s growth and development. A Biblical worldview is not just about learning Scripture; it is about shaping how our students see the world around them through the lens of God’s creation, His love, and His plan for humanity. By grounding their education in Biblical truths, we help children understand the world and navigate it with wisdom.
We recognize that the role of nurturing a Biblical worldview is not only the responsibility of the school but also of the family and the church. That’s why we are committed to coming alongside parents and churches in the vital task of teaching children how to view their studies, relationships, and future in the light of God’s Word. Together, we partner in creating an environment where students grow academically, spiritually, and morally, with a solid foundation to serve God and impact the world for His kingdom.
The following short clip from George Barna is not necessarily geared towards schools but gives some understanding as to why, at Calvary, we are passionate about helping to shape your child’s worldview from preschool through 5th grade.
